opened a Sloan-backed plant in San Juan, Slax Unlimited. His
brother-in-law runs it. Barely two years in operation, the plant
is already beset by "accidents." Foreman Benito Dominguez is
suspected of being the saboteur. Then his body is found in the
front office, a membership card for an anti-American,
pro-Independence organization in his pocket. Student radical
leader Prudencio Nadal calls on the workers to strike. Zimmerman
flies down from New York. So does Thatcher, hot on the trail of
Slax Unlimited's dwindling resources.
